काळ्या वाटाण्याची आमटी – Kalya Vatanyachi Aamti किंवा उसळ ही मालवणी मसाल्याची पाककृती कोकणातील घरांमध्ये अगदी कोंबडी मटणाच्या तोडीसतोड बनविली जाते.
आंबोळी – खापरोळी – (Amboli) – कोकणी मालवणी पाहुणचारातील एक खास प्रकारची तांदळाची पोळी जी कोंबडी मटण, खोबऱ्याची चटणी किंवा काळ्या वाटाण्याच्या आमटी सोबत छान लागते.
मालवणी सरंग्याची कळपुटी – Black Pomfret head dish – सरंग्याच्या (हलवा) डोक्यापासून बनवलेली मालवणी मसल्याची स्पेशल पाककृती. या साठी सरंग्याच्या डोक्याच्या भागाचे साधारण १ इंच अकराचे तुकडे घ्यावे.
